Al-Duwais Contracting will maintain a rigorous loss prevention program aiming to prevent human distress and financial loss. Our safety program does not introduce any standard lower than those in the Saudi ARAMCO program but allows for adaptation to meet local requirements and conditions.
Moreover this safety program is a supplement to the Saudi ARAMCO Construction safety manual detailing the safety procedure to be adopted.
To achieve this objective, we aim to promote a safe working environment by education and Training the workforce to regard safety as important as production, cost and quantity of work. Proper facilities and standards will be provided to assist our people maintain the safety requirement.
Only properly qualified personnel shall be employed for the job. New employees and inexperienced persons may be employed providing they are given adequate training and are adequately supervised so as to enable them to gain job knowledge and experience. Only when considered qualified for the job may persons be permitted to work without constant supervision.
The various Safety precepts described in the following chapters will be strictly observed and any violation will be viewed seriously. Those who are not observing safety regulations will be removed from the job site.
Therefore we hereby pledge our acceptance that we will strictly implement the loss prevention program, S.A.G Rules and regulations and Saudi ARAMCO Officials, the public and our employees.
Al-Duwais hereby establish a program for QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) AND QUALITY CONTROL (QC) for its contracting works. In this manual, we clearly define all requirements of Quality Assurance & Quality Control for the procurement and execution of a project(s).
Al-Duwais recognises the critical nature of Quality Assurance and Quality Control on any program. It is committed to the implementation of a program to ensure that engineering and design, manufacturing, procurement, installation, and other related activities are accomplished in accordance with Client’s quality standards, engineering standards, construction standards, and contract requirements. Al-Duwais specifically address the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) staff assigned and maintained to ensure satisfactory completion of all quality activities, quality policy deployment and verification of its proper implementation and maintenance, corporate and project organisation charts, and personnel assignments with descriptions of each positions’ reporting and functional responsibilities.
The Management bow to implement this manual in its true meaning in the various stages of similar projects. The senior QA/QC Engineer make sure that a copy of this manual is distributed to all participants, all employees are made aware of the project QA/QC requirements and its adherence throughout this project execution. The senior QA/QC Engineer will monitor and verify its conformance through audits.
